Often sipped during gatherings, celebrations, and even at funerals. It is typically served in glass or clay mezcaleros, or in jicaras, and sometimes even in reeds.

Inspired by this tradition, I decided to design my own version of a ceramic mezcalero.

The versatility of this project lies in its range of glaze colors, allowing for customization to suit individual tastes and complement any environment. Thanks to the wide-mouth design, aromas are released from the volatile alcohols on the surface of the mezcal. With a larger surface area, more aromas can be perceived while drinking. Simultaneously, the wide mouth helps prevent spills when swirling the liquid.
